Rihanna came out with the unexpected in this video for her latest single, "Disburbia." This video is dark, creepy and gothic. Singer Rihanna appears in a number of different outfits as she dances around with freaks and tarantulas. It's a great video. David LaChapelle directed it. You can watch the Disturbia video here. Here's Radiohead's "House of Cards" music video that all the blogs have been buzzing about. No cameras or lights were used. Instead, 3D plotting technologies collected information about the shapes and relative distances of objects. The video was made with visualizations of that data. The final result as you can see is a ghostly Tron-like visage. Parts of it also looks like it was created with an Etch A Sketch. It's not the best Radiohead song we have ever heard but it is certainly one of the coolest and strangest music videos. You can find the video here on YouTube. Radiohead's website is located at radiohead.com.
Is disco back? It sure sounds like Robin Thicke is trying to bring disco back. Not that that's a bad thing. Some Justin Timberlake comparisons are appropriate here. Thicke's Magic music video has some space elements we really like and the whole video fits well with the song. Good show. You can watch the video here. Robin Thicke's website can be found here and his MySpace is here.
