Brian Littrell Posts Swine Flu YouTube Message

An ill looking and sounding Brian Littrell posted a YouTube message apologizing for missing the NYC Pinktober Hard Rock Cafe signing with fans. Brian Littrell has been diagnosed with the swine flu. The rest of the Backstreet Boys are taking Tamiflu in the hopes it will help them avoid the swine flu according an ealier blog post by the Backstreet Boys, but it probably won't help keep them from catching it. Swine flu is currently ripping through the U.S. population so lots of people will soon get to experience what Brian Littrell is going through.

Colbie has also released a really cute music video that fits perfectly with the song. SNL's Bobby Moynihan plays the funny guy in the video who wants to take Colbie on a surfing date to the beach. Moynihan not only tries surfing but he rides a segway while Colbie rollerblades. You can also watch the video on YouTube here.

Mariah Carey: Obsessed

Mariah Carey ObsessedMariah Carey's music video for her song "Obsessed" features herself dressed up as a person who is stalking her. Some of the lyrics from the song, such as "lyin' that you're sexin me" are leading people to speculate that the song is about Eminem. It's a great video and Mariah Carey looks terrific in it.

Britney Spears: If U Seek Amy

Britney Spears plays two characters in the music video for "If U Seek Amy" - a wholesome suburban housewife and a woman with a wild night life. The video includes an opening jab at the title controversy with a news anchor explaining and pronouncing the title. It's not Britney's best video or song but it still very entertaining and Britney looks terrific in the video.

Demi Lovato: Dont Forget

Demi Lovato Dont ForgetDemi Lovato's is a rising Disney star. The 16-year-old musician sings about love and heartache in her song "Don't Forget." The shots at an amusement park during the pouring rain are pretty good. Even better is Demi and the band playing in the rain. Demi's MySpace page can be found here.

Miley Cyrus: Fly On The Wall

Miley Cyrus Fly on the WallThere's no love for the paparazzi in the music video for Miley Cyrus's "Fly on the Wall." There isn't much in the song either as she refers to them as "sneaky little, creepy little" flies on the wall. In the video the paparazzi are dancing and pursuing Miley Cyrus. It's a pretty good video. The ending is amusing.

Beyonce: Halo

Beyonce HaloHalo is a great song and a cool music video. Beyonce did the video sans makeup and seemingly without Sasha Fierce and her wicked robotic glove. It's a slow, romantic video but it fits the song very well. Michael Ealy stars in the video as Beyonce's romantic interest. If there is a complaint it's that it could have used more shots of Beyonce dancing in the dance studio.

Britney Spears: Circus

Britney Spears CircusBritney Spears new "Circus" music video is out. The song has the same name as Britney's recently released album. This is a fun video to watch. Ringleader Britney is captivating and so are her backup dancers. One criticism is that the video could have been a little lighter. There's clearly a Bulgari endorsement at the start of the video. The song itself does not seem quite as catchy as "Womanizer" but it might grow on you like "Womanizer" does. The video does have one big critic and that's PETA - they did not like the animals being in the video. You can watch "Circus" here on Britney's YouTube channel.

Leona Lewis Covers Snow Patrol's Run

Leona Lewis RunThe latest single from British singer Leona Lewis is called "Run" - a remake of Snow Patrol's "Run." It's a very nice ballad but Leona's music video is not very exciting. Leona strolls through a field and through a dark woods. At least her hair looks good. You can watch the video here. Leona's website can be found here.

Lady Gaga: Poker Face

Lady Gage Poker FaceWe like Lady Gaga. She mixes fashion, style and music in a unique way. She wears multiple outfits in the entertaining video for "Poker Face" including a sleek black spandex outfit and a blue swimsuit. Lady Gaga also has some LED sunglasses which display the words "Pop" and some cyborg-like face jewelry. You can watch the video here. The video begins with a very brief excerpt from her song "Just Dance" before playing the "Poker Face" video. Lady Gaga's website can be found here.

Britney Spears: Womanizer

Britney Spears Womanizer
Britney's clearly back in her latest music video for "Womanizer." This video was made by "Toxic" director Joseph Kahn and it delivers. Britney appears as a housewife waitress, secretary and limo driver. She's also strategically naked throughout the video in a recurring sexy sauna scene. Britney Spears also flirts with and vexes a womanizing man in the video. You can watch the video below or here on YouTube. The video is also on Britney's website which currently states that a new website will be "launching soon."

Selena Gomez: Tell Me Something

Selena Gomez Tell Me SomethingSelena Gomez is a rebellious maid in her new music video for "Tell Me Something." She's still sort of doing her chores but she's dancing and singing while she is doing them. The older grumpy maid is not pleased. To answer Selena's question there are 63,360 inches in a mile - thanks Google. It's a cute video for a cute, catchy song. You can watch the video here on YouTube. No One Will Overdose on Overdosin

Heidi Montag OverdosinThe music video for Overdosin' is a corny 80s themed workout video. The Hills star Heidi Montag dances around in the video in lycra, legwarmers and a sweatband. It's almost funny it is so bad. It does sort of fit with the song. The song itself is sub-par.

It's hard to find this video anywhere anymore. You can try a YouTube search and it might be there. It used to be on Montag's website. There still is a "making of" here in the videos section of her website.

Radiohead: House of Cards

Radiohead House of CardsHere's Radiohead's "House of Cards" music video that all the blogs have been buzzing about. No cameras or lights were used. Instead, 3D plotting technologies collected information about the shapes and relative distances of objects. The video was made with visualizations of that data. The final result as you can see is a ghostly Tron-like visage. Parts of it also looks like it was created with an Etch A Sketch. It's not the best Radiohead song we have ever heard but it is certainly one of the coolest and strangest music videos. You can find the video here on YouTube. Radiohead's website is located at radiohead.com.

Kate Ryan Ella EllaEven if you can't understand the lyrics it is hard to not to fall for the beat of Kate Ryan's "Ella Elle L'a." The music video is also fun and fits perfectly with the song. Kate Ryan shows off her figure and looks as she appears in a variety of sleek, fashionable outfits while being a passenger, stewardess and pilot aboard Kate Ryan Airlines. Jesse McCartney: Leavin'

Jesse McCartney LeavinThis is the first song released from Jesse McCartney's new album Departure. That album just arrived in stores last month. "Leavin'" is a great pop song that is sure to leave Jesse with a large number of screaming teen fans. The music video is relatively simple: Jesse sings while sitting across from an attractive young girl as he tries to convince her to leave her man - and he appears to succeed. You can watch the video here and you can visit Jesse's MySpace page here.

Avril Lavigne: The Best Damn Thing

Avril Lavigne Best Damn ThingAvril Lavigne says she's the best damn thing. "The Best Damn Thing" sounds an awful lot like Avril's hit song, "Girlfriend" - which has over 84 million YouTube views. The similarity may hurt or help the song depending on whether or not people liked "Girlfriend." The music video is even similar to part of the "Girlfriend" video. Arguably both the video and song for "Girlfriend" were far better than this one. Avril's pink look is interesting but she just doesn't seem like a cheerleader or even a punk cheerleader. You can watch the video here.

You Can't Count on Duritz

Counting Crows You Cant Count on MeYou sure can't count on the Counting Crows lead singer Adam Duritz in this song but you can count on the Counting Crows to deliver. Yes, it's a sad, depressing song but it is oddly catchy like many previous Counting Crows songs. The video perfectly matches the tone and words of the song. Duritz appears as an angry, bitter and self-obsessed man living in an expensive apartment. He at least is wise enough to know that no one can count on him. You can watch the video here.

Madonna: 4 Minutes

Madonna Four MinutesMadonna and Justin Timberlake worked together with Timbaland on the song and music video for "4 Minutes." It's a great song. The music video features Madonna and Timberlake dancing in various scenarious including in front of a large digital clock that is counting down from four minutes. They do only have four minutes to save the world after all. They seem to be spending too much time dancing and flirting to save the world but it is a music video. Duffy: Mercy

DuffyThe U.S. version of Duffy's "Mercy" is out. "Mercy" is both a great song and a compelling music video. There are many comparing Duffy to Grammy-winner Amy Winehouse. While there are similarities, Duffy is not a Winehouse rip-off as some are suggesting. She is talented and fun to listen to. The video shows Duffy in a club setting that is appropriate for the "Mercy" song. You can see the video here and you can find Duffy's website here.

Gnarls Barkley's Run Video is Crazy on the Eyes

Gnarles Barkley RunThis new trippy video from Gnarls Barkley featuring Justin Timberlake hosting an insane dance party may cause some people to have seizures. Others may have to temporarily look away. MTV will not show the video but that isn't something that is going to hurt the video's popularity. That kind of banning will just make people curious. The video for Gnarls new song "Run" is unforgiving in its use of strobes and optical illusions. "Run" is the first/single from Gnarls Barkley's April 2008 album, The Odd Couple.
